Home addition in Colonial Village, Washington, D.C. by H&C Contractors Inc. We built a large single-story addition onto the existing house, from the concrete block foundation and wall framing to the roof trusses, roof sheathing, house wrap and new windows.

Inside, the addition has vaulted ceilings under the roof trusses, walls of windows, a hallway and a covered connector to the main house. We also completed the full rough-in: a new electrical panel and wiring, plumbing supply and drain lines, a laundry hookup and HVAC ductwork.

Adding a family room, a primary suite or a whole new wing is one of the best ways to gain space on a larger lot. We manage the structure and coordinate the electrical, plumbing and HVAC work, and carry the addition through to finished rooms.
