Row House Renovation in Northeast Washington, D.C.

Row house renovation in Northeast Washington, D.C. by H&C Contractors Inc. We opened the house up to its brick walls and rebuilt the structure inside: new floor joists and subfloor, new roof joists with plywood roof sheathing, and temporary supports to carry the loads while the new framing went in.

At the front of the house, we framed and insulated the bay window, set new windows into the masonry openings, and framed new interior walls along the original brick.

Many row houses in Washington, D.C. need structural work as part of a renovation: new floor and roof framing, reinforced openings and new windows. We take care of the structure and carry the project through to finished rooms.

From row house renovations and home additions to kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor spaces, H&C Contractors Inc. works in neighborhoods across Washington, D.C.
