During: cabinets and countertops

With the walls painted and the recessed lights in, the white shaker cabinets were set along three walls and the island was framed and paneled. The quartz countertops were templated to the finished cabinets and installed, starting with the island, while the faucet and fixtures waited in their boxes.

After: the finished white kitchen

Once the quartz was in, the full-height slab backsplash went up behind the range, followed by the black range hood, the professional range, the brass pendants and the hardware. A blue column refrigerator adds a splash of color.
